You're both right. I forgot that game because I didn't watch all of it. Two stinkers out of 21 games is still a really low ratio for baseball.

Pulling for the Cubbies because of history; boy is the 3-6 hole looming large for the Cubs. Zobrist stung 2 but looked like warning track power, (maybe the wind? I didn't notice). Came down to that Baez drive that looked so promising off the bat.

Kershaw had most things working, the 95 FB and the 91 cutter (or 2 seamer), surprisingly his curve was not working. He ran out of gas in the 7th. That's as good as I've seen Jansen, just devastating cutter that looked Rivera-esque.

It would be excellent if the Dodgers can continue to hold their bats in check and just win the next three and I can breathe easy another year, at least. Five Inning Jake is pitching tomorrow, which gives me some hope that the Dodgers bats will come alive, as well.

He is facing a four-inning pitcher, so call it a wash.

Why no love for Cubbies? Are you from St. Louis? Or did your Great GMa own Billy's goat?

When he gets this way just remind him that Arrieta had a better ERA than Sale
