Water and a Mop Water from Cape May Brewery. Has cinammon, nutmeg, vanilla, but not too sweet, very good. Buddy went down again last week, got to make a trip there.

Just came back from a 15th anniversary trip to wine country with Mrs. W. That is a place where the spending on food and drink can escalate quickly. Had some fantastic cabernets and red blends out there.

Stella Artois and I get to keep the big glass. I tried giving one of these huge glasses away, and he said he already had four for his bar. I can't give the damn things away. Stella must have distributed a million of these glasses in the US.

Yup -- stayed in Sonoma and visited wineries and restaurants both there and in Napa. We got a driver for the day in Napa and they steered us to a couple of places which were decently above the price parameters I laid out.

Favorite place to visit were Ravenswood (super friendly) and Chimney Rock (which certainly put a dent in the tax refund which funded the trip).

Baxter Bootleg Fireworks, a nice hoppy double IPA. Allagash, Foundation, Baxter and Bissell Brothers. There can't be a city with better beer and seafood than Portland, ME. And Maine Beer Co is very close in Freeport.
