    Trump lead in Texas down to 3 in University of
    Houston poll. It's 2 points in a Survey Monkey poll.

    I doubt Clinton has a real shot at Texas. But the idea it might be in play is big. And she's got a great chance to take Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina.

    Winning is most important. But a crusher would help undo some of Trump's "rigging" talk.

    Clinton needs to have a great debate. Be presidential. Let Trump go full lunatic.

    If my circle of golf acquaintances -- white guys, 60-and-up -- is any indication, Texas may actually tip. Ordinarily these are "vote the R" types, but they're embarrassed by Trump. Knowing it's a lost cause, they seem more inclined to pull the HRC lever just as a way of registering their disgust with it all.
