Verducci was riffing off the sailor saying (and he acknowledged it): Red sun in morning, sailor take warning. Red sun at night, sailor's delight.

You are so fucking insufferable. How in the fuck am I a "#Troll" in this instance? Before almost anyone else seemed to, I noticed that Arrieta was struggling this season with his pitch counts and control, and that he was eventually going to pay for it. He has, in start after start after start.

    But I'm a "#Troll."

    Dumbass.

So you bring it up repeatedly because you think you deserve a cookie for making a baseball comment six months ago? Such that you reference it multiple times every time he starts?

    That is ... something.

You know what I think of as a "troll"? Someone who disappears for months at a time, then shows up on occasion to tell everyone how stupid they are for a few weeks before leaving again. Fairly textbook.

Tell us about Moises Alou again, and how he was reacting to the call, not the fan. Tell us, OOP, Jr.

I am thoroughly shamed that my memory of a sports event from 13 years ago contained a small inaccuracy. I am the appropriate amount of apologetic to all involved.

It's not a "small inaccuracy." It's why an everyday guy who reached for a foul ball like everyone else got pelted with debris, threatened, and has been shamed out of public view for 13 years.

He hasn't been shamed out of public view. He's chosen to stay out of public view. There have been plenty of chances for him to tell his story and be welcomed back as a hero.
