The resulting impact on a story I don't care about and have tried to generally tune out doesn't make the detail bigger or smaller within the memory.

 

So, hey, how about that Ryan Merritt story, guys? Last time he saw a batter was in the instructional league last week. Now he's trying to send the Indians to the World Series.

Here's hoping he's the next Bob Wolcott.

 

A loss tonight would give the Cubs a three-game losing streak for the seventh straight time when making the postseason, all of their post-WW2 appearances.

 

I can't see why he wouldn't, watching the video where people throw shit at him and try to attack him as he's hustled out of the stadium with heavy security detail to protect his life.

 

At least for this start, but probably don't want him to follow Wolcott's career after that start.
