    I can't understand the fuss over who's in the audience anyway. It's not like a candidate can poll the audience if they don't know an answer. Or the moderator's gonna do a full Oprah and take questions from the crowd.

    "Widespread" would mean both sides are doing it. We only know of one side having such an operation. And we only know of one side (the other side) supporting what would stop it.
