Looks like we're going on three years in a row of having to put up with an AL pennant winner whose team and fanbase I loathe.

C'mon, any year with the Indians making the World Series is a GREAT year.

Funny that both the Cavs and Indians beat Toronto teams, months apart, to make it to the championship series.

Here's to Brook Jacoby throwing the first pitch in Game 1.

Chief Wahoo is an embarrassment to Major League Baseball. However, they should get enough visiting fans to have a half-full stadium for Game 1.

    Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
    This team, man, this team.....

Omar Vizquel will always be my all-time favorite player. But Andrew Miller is rocketing up the list.

Is that right? If the Indians win the WS, the second-longest drought among teams active the whole time will be the 1979 Pirates?

World Series Game 1, next Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Right next door at just about the exact same time that starts, the Cavaliers will be receiving their championship rings and raising a championship banner.

    In Cleveland.

The only thing on fire will be couches.

If you don't count the teams that have never won it, I suppose that adds up.

Nah, those should count. I didn't think that sounded right when I heard it. Astros and Rangers

Everything is bigger in Texas ... including the W.S. droughts.

I don't know if that was a specific reference, but the full list is Rays, Mariners, Astros, Rangers, Nationals (Expos), Brewers, Rockies and Padres.

I would much rather see the Indians win it than either the Cubs or Dodgers.

No thank you. I hope it snows during their games while they wear their racist caps and the river starts on fire so Cleveland and Ohio can be seen for the cesspools I believe them to be.
