I think resignation is even settling in with the conservatives. Saw a "Hilliary is going to take away our guns" screed this morning on Facebook.

 

Won't be sure until I see a white flag as old_tony's avatar.

 

I've had it on a lot of levels.

I committed cybercide yesterday: I was on a site where I've been a regular, in one incarnation or another, since 1994 -- 50.000+ posts -- and I finally reached my limit on one conversation so I said "fuck it" and got myself banned, quite intentionally. And they ban pretty good there; double-match IP addresses, etc etc. So when you get banned, you're banned. You're completely locked off the board.

But I finally had enough, so I pulled the trigger. Gone.

 

I hear ya. Think the last time I tried to take on a conservative, outside of here, was when there was the "Obama is going to apologize for nuking Hiroshima" scare. But at least I got them to admit they knew he didn't, just wanted him out of office. Most of the things they post come from the likes of Breitbart and I just don't take the clickbait. Hell, I even dropped most pro-Dem pages and concentrated on MSM just to be fair.

 

Sorry, HSSE, but that last sentence made me bust out laughing. Hysterically. I've calmed down now, can inhale again, and will go back to being the court jester.
