Ok. State will be West Virginia and knock Big 12 out of the playoffs before Halloween.

Oddsmakers impressed by Missouri's almost victory against Middle Tennessee, make Tigers 4.5-point favorites against Kentucky.

Heinz is as much of a nightmare for the Hokies as the CarrierDome is. I wouldn't bet on it.

Dude, do you have a setting other than "Pitt sucks and is going to lose big?"

Michigan a 21.5 point favorite? Looks like an easy cover to me. UM has been waiting for payback on MSU for quite a while. If Harbaugh wants to run up the score, the Wolverines could score 100 on Michigan State.

We'll call this bet the "Starman Special" ... :)

Worth asking ... as disappointing as Notre Dame, Texas, USC and others have been, is Michigan State the biggest flop in the country this year?

This was a playoff team last year, and it's lost 5 straight. Sparty's only two wins this year are against Furman and equally rudderless Notre Dame.

You have a strong argument, Steak. What's really surprising to me is the defense ... Michigan State had half their starters back from a 2015 defense that was pretty damn good.

Other than against Furman, they've allowed at least 24 points to everyone. And other than Wisconsin, they haven't played the tough teams in the Big 10 yet.

And that win against Furman was only 28-13. Furman is 1-6

They are going to go from top four to missing a bowl game. At best they finish 5-7 since they have Michigan and OSU left. Plus they finish with Penn State so 4-8 is a possibility.
