Enough to overwhelm a crowd that's been waiting 20 years for another World Series and almost 70 for a championship?
This isn't a midweek interleague series in June, it's the World Series and World Series prices.
Might be some creative sound mixing, like opening and closing mics to get the right effect. It's kind of annoying, though, and this isn't the first time I've noticed it.

How is the highest rated World Series ever going? Does the world remain on pins and needles to see if the Cleveland Indians break their mythic championship drought?

    Cleveland'a overnight rating was 46.5. Chicago's was 31.4.

Must have had a big new latte release on the North Side last night.

I had a bet with myself that when I returned to this thread after this inning, the poster I'd see as last post was either Dick or Rick Stain. I owe myself a beer. Think I'll go collect.

Meanwhile, nothing happening through five. Too bad that's as far as Arrieta can go.

Dick, I suppose it would be mean of me to note that I posted after two consecutive posts by you, so I won't.

I think it's weird when people who post a lot call out other people for posting a lot.

Nothing happening in Cleveland tonight. And Five-Inning Jake will be tested.

What's the longest we've gone with a no-no since Larsen? I know Glavine and Wohlers finished off the Indians with a one-hitter in '95 but don't know when the hit was.

Jake Arrieta has one going right now, a no-hitter.

    Didn't Halladay throw one?
