Here's a good article from the LA Times on the acquittals, it wasn't primarily jury nullification. The Feds overreached by charging them with conspiracy to interfere with federal workers which of course was not their intent. With the conspiracy motive debunked the gun charges could not be sustained. The only charge which made no sense to acquit was theft of a government vehicle.

You may be onto something. The dismissed juror, who sounds livid about the whole thing and the most pro-prosecution, still says he couldn't have convicted on conspiracy.

At first glance, I was wondering why a Black Lives Matter agent was dealing with the Bundy case.

 

He might be guilty. But the letter coming from Chaffetz - somebody who supports the Bundy anti-BLM mindset and wants to sell off Federal lands - proves nothing.
