He refers to the newly discovered emails as appearing to be pertinent to their investigation.

He calls it an ongoing investigation.

He doesn't call it a criminal investigation, but he previously said that criminal investigations are the only kind of investigations the FBI conducts.

They are reviewing the newly discovered emails as part of a criminal investigation. That criminal investigation is into Hillary Clinton's handling of classified documents.

 

He has a slim chance to win.

He'll be fine as president. Honestly, conservatives will likely end up most disappointed with a President Trump.

 

"Re-opening a criminal investigation" is, presumably, a specific term of art with a specific meaning within the Bureau. You don't just blow that off because details are a buncha bullshit.

And the FBI doesn't even know if they are significant. It might be cookie recipes or suggestions for couples therapy.

The "mindsets" of those women can be reasonably deduced by the fact that he is a proven misogynist, bully and narcissist who doesn't believe he needs permission for anything, the fact that he said what he said, AND the fact that a dozen women claimed he did exactly what he said he does without their consent.
