Neither of those latter reasons would explain the Baylor-Texas game.

Another late night with the Cougs ... Oregon State giving them all they want in Corvallis. Ahead 35-31, WSU just misfired on a fourth-and-2 pass, giving the Beavers the ball at the WSU 43 with 5:57 left.

Every so often Wyoming has one of those wins that just sort of makes you smile. That 14-7 win at Rocky Top ... last night ...

SB Nation can do a follow-up now.

And USC has won 4 in a row, now at 5-3, heading into the Oregon game.

The Beaves' 4th-down play late was so determined running despite half of Wazzu trying to tackle him, only to come up 2 inches short.

    Cougars were down 21-0.

Two years ago I had UCLA over 9.5 wins. They crapped out against Stanford in the finale. Why do I go back to the flashy soft teams?

Not sure what Fisher is complaining about. Blocking below the waist in the open field is against the rules.

ACC Commissioner Mike Krzyzewski is going to have private words with Jimbo.
