It wasn't a year where she was on any ballot.

The media is mostly incurious about Podesta's emails in a way I suspect they would not be if Paul Manafort or Stephen Bannon's emails had been made public.

If you see someone intimate a lynching and your first reaction is "LOL", it is time to take a long look in the mirror.

Incurious about Podesta's emails? You've got to be kidding. The talking point about the media never reporting on the emails is completely false. What has anyone else been talking about for the last three days? Or during most of the summer?

You forgot the part where, 11 paragraphs in, the point is made that despite all the consternation from the initial point, whatever happened was legal.

Followed by more points on how the other side not only did the initial point, but did it much worse, and, when confronted by the flat-out hypocrisy of their side complaining about it now, scream out "THAT''S DIFFERENT!"

I'm laughing at his idea that his side is any different or that you can define and political party or candidate by its ugliest supporters.

A staple of the playbook: when terrible equivalences fail, go to the unprovable hypotheticals

The Clintons certainly have brought a lot of things down upon themselves by going up to, and sometimes crossing, the line. No question.

But yeah, the targeting of them is like none other in modern political history. And through all of it, proper investigations and bogus ones, nothing has stuck.

Rebecca is concerned. Must have been a quiet weekend for the moms of the UES.

Does anyone really believe Benghazi would still be mentioned if Hillary wasn't running?

Heck, if embassy attacks are so important, why haven't the Republicans held any hearings on the 13 attacks that killed 60 during the Bush administration? Why haven't they, as a party, taken responsibility for those attacks since they're demanding Clinton take responsibility for Benghazi?

    Speaking of willful disinterest ...

With gerrymandered house districts, that is only to get worse. Literally the only threat is being primaried for not being "conservative" enough, which for a plurality of the Republican base now means buying into nutjob Infowars conspiracy theories and overt racism.

The House is going to be an undignified race to the bottom for who can fling the most poo at her. I would literally be surprised if it is kept under two impeachments making it to Senate trial.

Which *shrug* that is what their voters want. I hope the fight for reasonable districts goes well in 2020

That front page is another case of the NY liberal media covering up for Clinton

Suffice it to say mankind will not be advanced in any positive way, and in fact would be lucky to survive, Trumpism.
