Sad. But I have never understood why we went from having two cops per car patrolling to one cop alone in most cases (except on cop TV shows where you need to have conversations between seemingly ill-matched partners).

 

He's tied to the whites.

 

Just awful. Nothing they could have done to prevent this either. It's not like they were approaching a suspect and ready for a possibly violent interaction. Just sitting in their cruisers. Hope they find the shooter or shooters ASAP.
