If the Indians are still in striking distance by the fifth inning or so, I like their chances due to the fresher bullpen.

Even though Hendricks' game 3 outing wasn't the best, he didn't look terrible. I think he's got more gas in the tank than Kluber, and even with a fresh Miller, the Cubs' hot bats give them the edge, I think.

Kluber only threw around 85-90 pitches last time out, though. That is at least somewhat helpful. I understand he's going on short rest again.

No one expects the Cubs to win a World Series? My god, they've been touted as the favorites since preseason, maybe even last preseason. They've been expected to win the World Series since Theo arrived.

They were the best team in baseball. What do you mean nobody expects them to win a world series?

It's a fact. They were favorites going into this series, just as the Red Sox and Blue Jays were before them.

It's going to be interesting to see what Francona does if Kluber finds a bit of trouble early -- say, bases loaded and one out, but no runs in, in the third inning. Does he go to Miller because the bullpen can cover that many innings? Or does he hope Kluber gets out of it in not-too-bad shape?

I also can't imagine the Indians not starting Rajai Davis after last night's disaster.

Any conjecture on tonight's TV ratings? Thinking it will be big, with lots of folks making it a point to watch: knowing that it's got a one game finality to it, and watching the Cubs streak either end or extend to 109.

    I'd guess about a 19.

If the Indians lose tonight, they basically become "that team" in sports. Two Game 7 losses, including one against a recent expansion team and one after being 3 games to 1 to the Cubs. No ring in the '90s despite a lineup with four or five potential Hall of Famers.
