    Get him out of there ASAP. That last strikeout was pushing Lester's luck past where it should go.

    That's not true. After the starter, it's discretionary. In 2014, there was about an hour that Bumgarner was the winning pitcher before they went back to Affeldt. To your point, they did stick with the guy pitching when they went ahead, but it's a decision.
