I still don;'t understand why people were so pissed off at her that they wanted her in prison or executed for some bullshit reason.

As always, I doubt it'll be as bad as people fear. It never is. We still have mechanisms in place to ensure we don't step too far backward. And not all progress is beneficial, yet when it comes to the federal government there's never a willingness to admit that ideas and policy can be bad. My honest hope is that we undo some bad ideas and replace them with ones that work in the real world.
Obamacare, for example. Noble idea, horrible in reality. Same with NAFTA. Revisiting or replacing them is not the worst thing in the world.
LGBTQ protection, you do have a Supreme Court decision on your side. That's a pretty tough precedent to undo.

The way you're feeling right now is the way a lot of conservatives felt after repeatedly getting kicked in the nuts from 2006-2010. We made it through that. You'll make it through this. Just keep fighting, working and voting for your ideals. If they're good ones, they'll shine through the muck and the mire.

Batman - I generally agree with you, except as has been pointed out on this thread, Trump comes off as a crazy person. Maybe that's a good thing - I don't think he could pull of a long con nearly as well as, say, Cheney. But because he's less predictable, I don't trust him to stick to the rules that have kept things on track despite the partisan back-and-forth.
