I'm most disappointed that an electorate that wanted Trump as an antidote to career politicians also voted, yet again, for Roy Blunt.

Trump, Blunt and Hitler are together in a room. A Democrat has two bullets. Who does he shoot?

    Himself. In the foot. Twice.

Obama's administration has been repudiated by the voters. They elected a Nazi who ran on the explicit platform of wiping out everything he had done. Why the fuck would he think Trump even wants his "best wishes"? Fuck him.

It was interesting listening to CNN's analysts going on and on about Clinton's strong Christian faith in the minutes leading up to her speech. Didn't hear much about it before the election.

Andrew Kacyzinski of Buzzfeed points out on Twitter that aside from trade, Trump has taken both sides of just about every issue in American politics in the last five years. So we can't know what he'll do, or even if he'll start doing something and then change his mind. The Republican Congress, however, is nothing if not predictable.

I get the feeling Starman is gonna get out of the office, get shit-hammered drunk during lunch......take a long nap this afternoon, wake up around mid-evening, find out that it's not a nightmare, and hatefuck his wife.

    - Ryan did about as well as he could under the circumstances.
    - Kaine was pretty good too. hearing his vocal fry, he should apply for a job at NPR.
    - Listening to NPR this morning is like a caricature of what you would guess it might. Even more denial there than here.
    - Hillary was...Hillary. It took her 12 hours to come up with that? I ask without hyperbole, has she ever said anything memorable? I don't even mean that she came up with herself. Include her team of speechwriters. After all these years in public service, what is the most interesting / surprising / inspiring thing she has said.

Try Alabama. Missouri is bad too, although I think Kansas has both beat at the moment.

They returned incumbents all over the map while voting for Trump. @Dick Whitman called it way back when. People want to be able to say nigger.
