I am seeing a lot in my Twitter and Facebook feeds about "why aren't white males on the left calling out their fellow white males?" and "How could a white woman vote for Trump?"

I saw where something line 7 million fewer Democrats voted this time.

Not to work YF's corners but did the black vote stay home this time? Did Pookie get off the couch?

Probably someone who realized he's made, in the words of GOB Bluth, "a huge mistake."

Or he's just acting until Jan. 20. Either or.

Is it possible that Trump just knows good TV and realizes acting presidential is a good thing?

There is no "fundamental problem" with minimum wage laws. These laws simply establish a minimum standard for the lowest level worker who, by definition, is most powerless and vulnerable to exploitation. Structured properly, they lift the pay of low-wage workers with negligible loss of hours/jobs. There were three or four ballot initiatives to raise minimum wages this election and I believe all of them passed.

I think they largely stayed home. That's what I've read.

The reporting seems a little unclear on that. I read the latino/hispanic vote stayed home, and Trump managed to get 30-plus percent of that.

The fact the Republican candidate got a hair under the 2012 total and won suggests either turnout on both sides shrank and a lot of the Obama coalition crossed over, or the Obama coalition showed up considerably less. Probably a bit of both, but it shows the importance of voting for someone you actually want to vote for.

Both Trump and Obama are complete fucking frauds and anybody who ever voted for either should be outraged.

If you ever meant a word you said, you can't sit in a room and make nice with this fucker.

Obama should resign. If you're that much of a bitch you're gonna sit and grin with a Nazi, take your Stepin Fetchit ass to the golf course.

That was the intent but I'm sure it became a de facto teachers' lounge too.

In a sense it does, but it also just puts different stresses on how to reach whatever the market will bear. See: the whole cutting hours to get under insurance thresholds.

Minorities voted for Trump by higher percentages than Romney.

Right, because the minorities who only showed up to vote for Obama didn't show up this time.
