Is there an interpretation of the Constitution that allows the government to deport U.S. citizens because of the depth of their religious beliefs?

    I'll hang up and listen.

I love Jamie Dimon. My problem is that we shouldn't have someone who is an "anything" about finance given the powers that position now comes with. And when you rotate through people who most benefit from what that position can do, you are going to get inherent corruption. I say that believing that Jamie Dimon himself isn't a corrupt person. He very well could do that job thinking he is making decisions that are to the benefit of the country. But it's a bit like @cranberry deciding who is too rich and who is too poor and deciding he can fix it all. It works to our detriment, not our benefit.

Also, I suspect that Jamie Dimon is smart enough to know he will be walking into a disaster -- not just in terms of who got elected president, but in terms of what the next treasury secretary is very likely to have to deal with. The flip side of that is that he might know it and just want the challenge. The guy has balls. Still, I am wondering if Jamie Dimon wants no part of it and we might get a Steve Mnunchin. If that happens (and I have no idea, obviously): 1) Mitt Romney will have a stroke, and 2) it will be a choice worthy of the kind of selection Hillary Clinton would have made.

If you are a naturalized citizen, but plan on following Sharia Law, I would think you are in violation of the oath you swore:

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

Newt's quote was "every person here who is of Muslim background."

Blatantly anti-Constitutional, unless you are old school and figure the protections apply only to white, land-owning men, I reckon.

NOTE: I'd like to be a potentate.

Just chatted with a friend who has a teacher in the family. She got the pleasure of breaking of a fight between some students, white kids yelling at hispanics "Build the wall! Go home!" Earlier I read about the Klan enjoying some celebration marches.

Our president elect seems to embolden racism. Good thing I shouldn't be worried about who won. That would be whiney.

So I should be worried about this because I'm Jewish?
