    Mrs. YankeeFan voted for Trump.

God bless her, a year ago, I would have never predicted that. Was pretty happy to not have my vote cancelled out by my wife.

And, the best part is, I didn't work on her at all. She just really found Clinton to be incredibly fake.

Can all the polls really be that wrong?

    Same as my dad.

Although he added one snippet that I had never even considered. Knows that Trump has said/done bad things. But all that was as a private citizen. Hillary's missteps came largely as an elected or appointed official in service to the people.

That really made a difference to him.

    I don't get it.

Ever since the days of Gemini and Apollo, we've trumpeted (no pun intended) our technological superiority to the Russians.

But they allegedly can hack and hack and hack away, and our great minds can't do anything to stop it?

I was surprised that none of my deeply conservative family voted for Trump. Mom left President blank, brother in law for Johnson, sister stayed home.

I made that same point to someone at work today. It's an important distinction. People feel like she had her opportunity with the public trust, and repeatedly violated it.

I don't know. The whole my-cow-is-sacred-yours-is-hamburger argument doesn't make much sense.

This is where you would smugly chide someone else about using an anecdote as a representative sample.

Well, if he takes the ball overseas and tries to sell his product in America, Trump wants to tariff the shit out of him.
