Really? So he's policy blind when staffing FDA EPA DHH?

Let's see what he can do first. Can't slap tariffs on countries or pull out of existing agreements without Congress, where the divide isn't based on party. Obamacare won't just disappear in a flash, even if it is repealed.

Look for executive orders regarding energy, environmental, and conservation policy. Change in strategy regarding ISIS and Syria.

RickStain must have listened to the same episode of Fresh Air as I did.

Because his predecessor took the exec order route re: immigration, that's another area he can pretty much go it alone on.

I don't know what "Fresh Air" is.

I am describing it that way because that is what it is.

Pass voter ID, put a large fee on getting an ID. Get around poll tax laws by putting in rule that says you can get fee waived but do everything you can to hide the waivers.

Then selectively close as many places as you can that issue IDs in areas where your side doesn't vote.

Then do the same thing for polling places. Make sure the people most likely to vote against you have to wait hours while your rural supporters get dozens of times more polling places per capita. If you notice too many of them voting at certain times, change the voting hours away from those times.

This was the blueprint that flipped Wisconsin and saved North Carolina, and it is coming to more places for 2020z

You can quote "rules are rules" if you want, but these rules are being cynically designed to make sure that the will of the people is not expressed in the voting booths.

And then redraw districts so that 500k votes for each side means you get 4 wins and they get one.

All this will have the result of pushing the country's laws to the right, hard. If you think that is good, fine, but you can't pretend it won't happen. The vast majority of GOP have far more to fear from being primaried for being insufficiently "conservative" by whatever nutjob definition of conservative deems Paul Ryan insufficient.

Yep. Perpetuating the breakdown of checks and balances for temporary gains will be Obama's ultimate legacy.

Congress? The Republicans in Congress are scared shitless to cross Trump. Ryan and McConnell are not the strong to start. TheyLl do what trump says or he'll go to their state and hold a ReichRally

Oh hush. You're bitching about the electoral college one minute, gerrymandering the next. Soon you'll start raving about "New England" or something and how you didn't get to vote on whether we'd have a republic or a direct democracy (never mind that you didn't get to vote on "majority rule" either).

Stick to election forecasting and polling interpretation. Those are in your wheelhouse.

I like it when you get like this because it is the only way you know how to admit I'm right
