Ace, I posted this earlier and it didn't really move the needle. But it clarified a lot of things for me.

Peter Thiel on Trump's transition team. Hopefully he will be the one vetting the White House Press secretary to make sure that the chosen person subscribes to the "right" kind of doublethink (but don't worry, it will all be "libertarian" rightspeak.)

Not just HRC fatigue. Before Obama, the last president not named Bush or Clinton was Reagan.

FYI, the two times in the past 80+ years that the Republicans have held the presidency, the House and Senate was in 1928 with Herbert Hoover and from 2002-2008 with the George W. Bush administration.

This is exactly why the electoral college is important. It also prevents a pure democracy, which can easily evolve into something the minority sure doesn't want. The hiccups of having someone win the electoral college and the presidency despite not winning the popular vote was intentional and, actually, quite genius of our forefathers.

It is a pointless waste of energy, but why can't it be his democracy works? It is in the rules, and rules are rules and decide who wins no matter how the votes are cast.

My understanding of democracy has always gone something like this: "Even in states where that is not allowed, their vote would still be counted, they would simply pay a small fine - which we can be sure Clinton supporters will be glad to pay!"

The Clinton Foundation couldn't have described democracy any better.
