Every part of our previous discussion seems to be getting mooter as we speak.

Especially with USC putting it on Washington.

One of the endlessly fascinating things about this sport is that no matter how juiced an offense is, it will have at least one game where it looks like the transmission fell out in the road. Looking at you Louisville.

Just turned this game on ... good grief, who dressed Washington today?

Narduzzi kisses his kicker after missing a fg.
A Pennsylvania coaching tradition unlike any other.

Hawkeyes hanging in there against Big Blue, down 10-8 at halftime.

As I've said before, the Iowa punter might be the team's MVP:

    * Gets a UM player ejected for targeting (despite stumbling on a fake punt)
    * Gets two straight running into the punter penalties for 10 yards and a first down
    * Pins UM at the 1 yard line, leading to a safety.

Iowa then actually had a decent offensive drive late in the 2Q, and is a dropped 2-point conversion away from being tied at halftime.

This Hawkeye alum is lovin' it!

Driving now. I have no words. Biggest win I've ever seen in person.

Did you notice any smoke/haze from the wildfires? Thought it looked kinda hazy on TV. They're just down the way as the crow flies.

Saw something on my Facebook (in between post-election blather) about parts of Rabun County, Ga., getting evacuated.

Bit of haze in T-Town today also, even though most prominent fires a good 60-90 miles away. Been 56 days and counting since last measurable rain. Weatherman came on Jumbotron at half with forecast saying it should rain next Saturday, and people stood and applauded longer than they did for some touchdowns.

Is it hold off USC's funeral or start services for Washington? What an absolute disaster the last two plays were.
