It doesn't matter. If we've learned anything about Trump is that any criticism results in him doubling down. No apologies. Ever. No admissions of error. Attack the critic, mercilessly and personally. Ignore the criticism. If anything criticism emboldens him to continue the course of action. which is why war is inevitable

Anybody else find in interesting that two of today's great Christian warriors and conservative heroes are named Pence and Schilling? There has to be some back-bencher state legislator from KKKentucky named Farthing. Has to be.

 

Shouldn't it trouble Trumpists -- even just a bit -- that their guy's election has compelled the Klan to say they're so happy that they're going to throw a parade?

Oh, Rick, it describes so much more. 66 days and counting, and they're having major shakeups on the transition team. DoD, State, CIA, no meetings with transition team yet. As far as I can tell, Trump's best and most important meeting was with Obama. He could do much worse, but holy hell.
Leaving aside the fact these are hateful people, they are so inexperienced with government as to be incompetent as well. My expectations are this: No nuclear holocaust, no suspension of the Constitution, Trump did better than I thought.
PS: It's been reported (Huff Post, citing anonymous "Democratic aides") that Trump has reached out to Obama on which Republicans he should hire. No wonder Obama's been buttering him up. As Herald Red Sox beat writer Joe Giuliotti used to say, "in confusion, there is profit."
