I'm not sure I trust it if they're qualifying one of the ingredients as 'Rueben Sauce.'
That makes me suspicious. It should be 'Russian Dressing.'

Better for it to say "Rueben Sauce" than "Reuben's Sauce".

From the "It's a Small World Department:" My first job was in the Quad-Cities (which has a large Belgian community) 35 years, and a few of us occasionally went to the Belgian Village for lunch. The dominant demographic was elderly men who'd reminisce about old Cubs such as Gabby Hartnett and Andy Pafko, and the beverage of choice was Old Style, with a few PBR drinkers mixed in. Food was top-notch.

Thank God. I had second thoughts that maybe that reference was a bit too old for this crowd…

I was 4 when it went off the air, but I saw plenty of reruns.

    Quad-Cities, represent!

When I worked at the Dispatch/Argus, occasionally someone would make a food run to the BV. Their turkey rueben was my go-to sandwich.

Had a great Rueben at Dunn's in Montreal when I was working the 2009 NHL Draft. That's all I got.

Cannot stand Swiss cheese. Makes me gag if I get some by accident.

I don't know why I clicked on this thread either.

    Carry on.

  12. Ham and Swiss go together like Redford and Newman.
That is my go to camping/hunting sandwich.

I also love Reubens, but I seldom ever eat them because they are so fattening. Gotta have a Reuben on rye bread. Must.
