You use the word "failed," but I wouldn't - presuming there was an effort.

If there was such an effort it was ill-conceived. You suppress the depressed vote - not the motivated one.

 

I was thinking more Michael Bolton on the copy machine, followed by taking a dump on the corpse while yelling "DAUGHTERFUCKER!" 250 times.

 

A good friend of mine got a bit speaking role in a Scorsese film - Casino. He said the levels of prep work into just the three hours he was on the set was something that he's never experienced in anything in his life.

 

This thread is, in every way, as much of a sociological study as the election itself.

No friggin' wonder we can't find compromise as a country.

I might be one of the absolutely rare few who would publicly say Vin Scully stuck around too long and was hard to listen to at the end. But that was cool.

I spent the weekend with the aforementioned uncle and several cousins. They are all Dallas season ticket holders. I was in a tree stand until the 4Q. But even that bit was pure hell with them there.
