She might have lost Virginia without him.

That was great. It was like the newspaper itself started yelling "HOLY FUCKING SHIT YOU GUYS! WHAT IS HAPPENING?"

Why hold back the epithets on a politics thread? Seems a shame to waste the heat on a baseball thread.

Should Obama pardon Hillary? Does she need one?

I think Trump should tell Obama that he's going to have pardon her, or else he'll have to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate her.

We've entered an era where what the president says doesn't matter. This is what we're being told. The words the soon-to-be most powerful person on the planet uses, they are without weight. It's a weird spot to be in.

I'm holding onto the hope of a doddering populist presidency. Man doesn't really seemed focused enough to get stuff done. Seems like it'll just depend what the folks around him can get together and do, which could be something substantial or could devolve into infighting.

This is fun. Early on, the left thought Trump would be the easiest potential nominee for Hillary to beat, and it had nothing to do with him being racist or sexist.

Here's former Obama campaign manager, thrilled that Trump would be the Republican nominee.

Messina's twitter feed is a treasure. He hasn't tweeted since early on election day, when he was excited about Hillary's impending presidency.

    It's like discovering Pompeii.

No, it's like a newspaper updating on the fly as factual results roll in.

He won't. She wouldn't accept it if he did. Trump will prosper in his goals, extreme and unextreme, only to the extent he is perceived as just another Republican President. Prosecution of a beaten opponent would shatter that perception. Now if HE was to pardon Clinton, that'd be great trolling.
