    What makes it a bad idea?

    I imagine he wants to build momentum going into Inauguration Day. He's going to have a very aggressive agenda that he's going to want to pass in the first 100 days.

    Doesn't seem much different to me than the road show the President and members of his cabinet do after the State of the Union Speech or the events the Obama administration did to promote "Recovery Summer" or whatever it was they called that.

    It's different because "The Wall" was pretty literally the only consistent policy position he had.

    He has "held" just about every conceivable position on every other issue in the last 15 years.
