“I want to be free to network across the whole system and look at what we have to do to succeed,” Gingrich said Thursday when briefly reached by phone. Holding a Cabinet post, he said, would have been “not physically doable.”

 

Much more money to be made as private citizen with unlimited access to the administration is really what that meant. We are seeing a pattern here. Fanatics will take administration posts. Grifters know the big money is outside the tent.

 

Gingrich has gone from VP favorite to potential Secretary of State to out of the administration completely.

 

Jeff Sessions - too racist to be a district court judge, but hunky-dory to be AG under Trump.

 

For someone who pledged to Drain The Swamp, Trump sure is plucking out a bunch of circling turds.
