OOP, I'm gonna give credit where credit is due, and that's actually done quite well. Nice work, and keep it up.

 

Nobody has ever held anyone accountable for campaign promises before now.

 

In 2015, Congress passed the spending bills blocking Obama by veto-proof margins.

If he's so willing to make those statements, he should be prepared to back them up and accept whatever consequences that are brought. Otherwise, he should watch what he says.

 

You're conveniently ignoring others he signed when not confronted with veto-proof majorities.

 

So he knowingly lied to the public.

How will we know he's not lying when he says Syria has WMDs, or Russia is going to make mushroom clouds over our cities?

 

My point is that he actually made an effort to live up to his campaign promise. He may not have put out a 100 percent effort, especially when he finally realized the difficulty in doing so, but he did at least make attempts.

Unlike Trump, who apparently was just saying things like prosecuting Hillary to get people to vote for him without ever intending on making good on his promise.

You don't know whether Obama made an effort or not. His maneuvers re: Guantanamo could have been sincere, they could have been entirely for show. Likewise with Trump re: Herself.
