This is why he needs to get off Twitter immediately. We all get pissed off when things don't go the way we want. We aren't all president elect of the United States. And 15 million people aren't reading my personal hissy fits.

I'm just asking the dude to act presidential.

We will soon hear from our resident version of Baghdad Bob why it is actually very presidential to not act presidentially.

"Trump was speaking metaphorically and in limerick about the NYT's Style section not doing a complimentary article about his MAGA caps - which are the hottest fashion accessory of the season."

I honestly think Trump would be only half as crazy (still pretty crazy) if he got out more. He of course loves himself, but these Twitter transformations indicate he also desperately craves the approval of others, especially people he thinks are critics. Look at how his attitude towards Obama changed from one face-to-face meeting where Obama was no more than civil and pleasant. There are few limits to the depth of my disdain for Trump. We will have a man in the White House I wouldn't have in my own house socially. But were we to meet, a remote contingency, I'd be courteous, because that's what's due his office if not him. And he'd probably leave thinking "what a great guy Gee is. He really likes me!"

Alright. He could have vetoed the law and let Congress override him. Could use given him more political cover. Can't even use the "I tried" excuse.

This really is a big part of it. He's surrounded by yes men 95 percent of the time. I think he hates it when people say "no," but in an odd way he respects that.

Did anyone in the room call Trump out on that?

Whut? I missed something. This damn thread is too large and going too fast to follow.

I'm still reading the old thread. Finally made it past the concession speech.
