And we have our first entrant for the Royal Rumble.

    It's Goldberg.

No DQ, no Jericho and Reigns ... if that doesn't telegraph the return of Triple H, I dont know what does.

And the seeds planted for a New Day heel turn, doing whatever necessary to keep the streak alive?

Nope, no Trips. Instead, it was the Artist Formerly Known as Super Liger.

Not sure yet about a New Day heel turn, although what they did was very heelish.

Outstanding segment with KO and Jericho.

Outstanding match between KO and Rollins. PPV quality. Great use of the modern hardcore style. Great great job by those two.

Sounded like there some more boo birds in the crowd than usual for New Day.

Yeah, but they were in Bizarroland. Plus Cesaro is very popular.

New Day ... Man .. just stop with the shit already.

They've been doing heelish things to keep the titles for a while now. Well, Woods has. But remember, they were faces at first, then turned heel and then people started to like them, so they turned face again in public demand.

Now, I think they HAVE to go heel. Cheat at all costs etc. to stay "fresh." Because face New Day has bored me for a little while now, but champion face New Day is just pure shit. Has been for six months.

Now that Ellsworth has another title shot, I could see him hold on to it. Ambrose then beats Styles at TLC, and then we get the teacher vs. student match.

On this day in pro wrestling:

Macho Man wins the vacant WCW title at World War 3 in the 60-man, three-ring battle royal.

Diesel beat Bob Backlund for the WWF title at a house show in 1994.

Scott Steiner beat Booker T for the WCW title at Mayhem in 2000.
