For reporters covering the transition, this public service announcement: Don't wear new shoes or boots, it's getting piled up deeper.

Tom Friedman, continuing to be a national disgrace, asks Trump "what do you think is America's role in the world?"]
Trump: "That's kind of a big question."
For once and probably the only time, I'm on Trump's side there.

One, Mattis is by all accounts one helluva leader. Two, whoever last talks to Trump on a given subject tends to impress an opinion on him - until he talks to someone who holds a different opinion.

Only problem is, Mattis is forbidden by law to be Sec. Def. for two more years.

Which is a pity, because I'd trust him much more than the other names that have been thrown around. He still got to talk some sense to Trump, for however long it sticks.

As soon as BLM discovers the 2nd Amendment and Open Carry the sooner we will get gun control

The Pentagon can give a waiver. Mattis may be an inspired choice. A broken clock is right twice a day

Once again, YF has nothing but "Look what the other guys did!"

This should be interesting. Reagan could care less about the details a lot of the time but there was no doubt he had a core set of conservative beliefs.

What do you get with a president with no attention span and no fundamental convictions (besides a plethora of people beneath him carving out their own personal fiefdoms?)
