NYT Letter to the Editor:

I was an English teacher for 40 years. Donald Trump, in answering questions about global warming, white nationalism, waterboarding and press freedoms, sounds exactly like my students who hadn’t read the assignment and had to obfuscate in their answers. Everyone in the classroom knew who hadn’t done his homework and didn’t understand the material.

I'm not sure I see the point here.

This is the Secret Service's mission.

What do you think they should do? Tell Trump to move? Not provide him with security?

 

Trump should rent a studio apartment for his wife and son.

 

Maybe trump, who is worth 10 billion dollars or more, can spare the American Taxpayer the expenses of a security detail worth tens of millions of dollars just so his child can attend th private school of his choice. Essentially the taxpayers are paying for his school choice.

He didn't self fund like he promised and in fact received millions of dollars thru the sale of merchandise and charging retail prices for the use of his normal expenses

 

And speaking of schools ...

 

I certainly don't think kids should have options other than public schools, especially in urban areas.

 

Someone who's never attended a public school or state university should never be a high-ranking government official.

 

Even worse if they've ever held a job in the private sector.
