I know Aaron Rodgers has been lights out lately (fantasy-wise), but I'm really worried about his matchup with Philadelphia. The Eagles' defense has been absolutely untouchable at home, where they're averaging 9.5 points allowed per game. That includes holding Big Ben and the Steelers to 3 points and Ryan and Falcons to 15.

I have three teams, and Rodgers is on all of them. But I'm starting Roethlisberger at Indy on one and Brady at the Jets on another. The third team, currently in second at 8-3, didn't have a backup QB on the roster. I picked up Cousins and I'm seriously considering starting him even though he's on the road in a ridiculously short week. Tannehill, playing at home vs. San Francisco, is also an intriguing option, but I'm not as sold on him as I am on Cousins -- Tannehill hasn't had a 20-fantasy-point game since Week 3, while Cousins has scored 20 or more in three of his last four games.

    Thoughts, anyone?

    Imagine you're a single
Cousins seems like a decent play.

I'm facing a bunch of unappetizing matchups and not sure who to play as my flex. Julio Jones is a lock even in a bad matchup and Cooks has a decent matchup against the Rams. Freeman gets a terrible matchup at Arizona, but I'm still leaning toward playing him and Jordan Howard over James Starks at Philly, which isn't a horrible matchup for an RB.

After that, my choices are Crowder at Dallas (good matchup), Reed as a second TE at Dallas (good matchup), Starks at PHI (decent matchup) or Moncrief vs. Pitt. I'm leaning toward Crowder.

    Overthinking it. Start Rodgers

Cooks has been money at home for the most part. Is Luck playing for Indy? If not, I wouldn't touch any Colts receiver. Honestly, I think Crowder and Reed are your best options -- probably Crowder over Reed because he's been more consistent over the past six weeks or so.

Colts declared Luck out with the concussion protocol today.

Good call on Luck. Forgot he's out with a concussion.

Just looked at Cooks' numbers at home and they're significantly better than on the road. So that creates a question in my other league where I've got to pick two of three among Cooks against LA, Rishard Matthews vs. a shitty Chicago team or Crabtree at home vs. CAR. All are pretty good matchups, with Cooks having the worst one against the Rams.

An update: Started Cousins -- 30-plus points. No matter what Rodgers does, I am happy with my decision.

Crowder played well - 16 points. Reed played way better.

Yes, Reed was a big stud today, especially after it looked like he might be done with an injury.

I saw that play and said to myself, "Good decision on Crowder!" Dumbass that I am.
