Guys, actually Trump is trying to help American jobs with that flag-burning tweet.

See, he's guaranteeing A) lots of flags will be burned in protest and B) that will result in lots more construction of prisons, the hiring of more guards and reopening of American factories to make more flags! Genius. He's always one step ahead of the bias media!1!

So, we're just debating the penalty?

Trump only speculated about the penalty: perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail.

We know he's a deal maker. I'm sure he'd be satisfied with the penalty Hillary proposed in the bill she sponsored.

No, we're mocking Trump - not debating the penalty.

Unless he gets SCOTUS to reverse Texas v. Johnson, flag burning is protected under 1A.

What year was that case? Must have been after Hillary sponsored the flag burning bill, but I don't remember the ruling.

Women should be punished for getting a legal abortion.

    We're just debating the penalty.

Wait until Supreme Court Justice Theodore Nugent is sworn in.

Why are you pretending a statement from the President-elect of the United States doesn't carry more weight than a DOA "bill" from more than a decade ago that barely got introduced, let alone debated?

    Clinton was wrong too.
