The auto industry bailout was a huge success that saved jobs and ultimately lives. I know you hate that, but fucking deal with it anyway.

Actually, I'm looking at the success of the company and the number of people and families who have benefited from excellent jobs these past six years. You want to refute that?

Refute what, that some people benefited? So what? By that standard Prohibition was a raging success!

The only reason you consider the bailout a success is because: A) it helped your buddies; and B) it came at the expense of those you don't like so much. If your buddies had gotten 2X, rather than the X they got, you'd have considered it twice the success.

 

The Moet? I got tired of waiting for @Lugnuts to show up and drank them by myself the Sunday before last.

 

That's horseshit. I supported the bank bailouts, too, if you'll recall. My only concern through the entire process was to mitigate an economic disaster, which is what happened.
