President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

The public, in general, has a four-word attention span. Explaining complex issues gets boiled down to four words, the public eats it up, then complains when things aren't going their way.

 

Fuck China.

Trump has made it clear he isn't going to do foreign policy the same old way.

What's China going to do, anyway?

Protest a little. BFD. Same thing they did when GWB pissed them off.

 

Trump knows bullies only respect those who project strength.

 

Guess there will be nasty communiques drafted and many dinner plans changed.

 

Everyone knows that Trump goes for the quick and easy headline otherwise he would have had all 2000 jobs from Carrier.

 

It's not what will China do. It is when they do something, like shutting down bank transactions the weekend before Christmas and not even fake policing counterfeit manufacturing, what will Trump do in response ?

 

Go look at everything in your house that was made in China. Always a great plan to piss off a country that makes that much stuff Americans want/need.

 

Appeasement is always the best approach to foreign relations. Especially if you cherish your microwave.

 

If you shop at Walmart, shut up.
