Didn't Alabama lose to LSU in overtime and then dominate the rematch for the championship?

The AD at Sacramento State doesn't know why his phone has blown up with teams looking for an open weekend next season.

It's awesome that the "best" conference in the country sends a team that wasn't even good enough to make the conference championship game. Clemson had better hope Urban Meyer isn't in a bad mood in the hours before kickoff. If he is, Ohio State will score 90 against that defense.

It did. I'm very glad it happened. And if you dredge up my posts from back then I said there was no room to complain if Bama got left out.

    'Twas a two-team playoff then.

Gonna be all fine and dandy leaving them out of a four-team tourney?

The Big 10 champion was 10th in the final BCS standings and the ACC winner 11th. They would have gotten less consideration than Boomer Sooner did today.

EDIT: And more to the point, their conference champion would have been in too.

C'mon. People don't dredge up posts from back then.

You should be thanking me for setting the record straight on when healing occurred. It was the very first time 100,000 people got to come back and get drink at tailgates and jump up and down to "Zombie Nation."

You two are really bathing yourselves in glory here today. And I'll just let you keep on looking that way.

Besides, we know USC can beat them both.

Songbird must be on the Rose Bowl committee.
