Kohn calls it fact that Big Mike was fleeing with his arms up.

It's immediately pointed out to her that she's wrong.

Two months later, she says she made a good faith effort, while relying on a source.

    Bullshit.

It seems to really underscore his commitment to working people.

Puzder has also been very pro-immigration, urging Republicans in 2013 to pass the Senate immigration reform bill Obama supported. His testimony on that topic before the Senate during his confirmation hearing will be illuminating, one way or the other.

The cynic in me thinks that's because he wants cheaper employees at his fast food joints.

No shit. That's not cynicism, it's reality.

Where did you get the idea that newrooms lack any kind of ideological diversty? Is that a fact you made up or assumed?

Journalists doing math is almost always unintentionally fake news.

Sadly, I believe it to be basically true.

At my shop we have diversity training every so often and a wonderfully diverse newsroom by the typical metrics (whites, blacks, males, females, hispanics, gay, straight, even transgender) . . . about 90 percent of which votes Democratic. My previous shop was the same way. My Facebook newsfeed is divided into two groups: colleagues and ex-colleagues who rooted for Obama and Hillary . . . and non-colleagues and relatives who didn't.

I will admit that the profession tends to attrack more liberal/progressive folks. Most jobs that appeal to college educated, creative people who don't care too much about money are going to skew liberal. But we always had plenty of conservatives in the newsroom as well.

However, conservative views aren't always reflected on the opinion pages by local writers, which I think was a big failing of my last paper.

And, who knows, one of these posts he may even come close to what everyone else is talking about. #trumpworld
