Clinton is as implicit as anyone in the mess we find ourselves in. Her arrogance in thinking the election was over at least three different times will cost this country dearly. Fuck her.

This is a really good explainer about what Russia did to hack the election. They did not attempt to hack voting machines or vote tallies. They hacked the electorate by feeding them false and slanted stories, by amplifying bullshit memes which served their ends, and in general by throwing all the shade on Hillary that they could. Add in the Comey letter two weeks before the vote while they really pushed their propaganda hard and the fact that Hillary is simply horrible at being a politician and they got the guy they preferred elected.

Russia Didn’t Hack the U.S. Election. It Hacked the Voters.

McMullin: GOP ignored Russian meddling in presidential election

“They understood what was happening and they understood that that was probably only the tip of the iceberg,” McMullin said. “As a former intelligence officer, it’s hard to overstate how alarming this is and how alarming it should be.”

“We now have the intelligence agencies who have taken, candidly, their sweet time in coming out to say ‘yes, indeed Russia did attempt to undermine our elections, to influence our election’ and then more recently, you know, the reported CIA assessment that they did it on behalf of Donald Trump or to support Donald Trump, which I think, again, is obvious and not something we should need the CIA to tell us, based on all the other information we have.”

I have a feeling Trump supporters are about to change their minds again and go back to their "polls don't matter" position soon:

Poll: Trump’s transition has lowest approval rating in decades

According to the survey, Trump is also poised to enter the Oval Office with the lowest job approval rating ever recorded by Gallup. Presidents Ronald Reagan in 1981 and George H.W. Bush in 1989 have the lowest initial job approval rating at 51 percent, but Trump could take office with an approval rating in the low 40 percent range if recent historical patterns hold.

His approval rating has risen and his unfavorables have fallen since the election.

So, in this story, House Dems = Santa Clause.

The media took the House Dems word for it, and didn't confirm the story.

I expect many here will be calling for multiple firings if reporters and editors, since so many outlets reported it.

Didn't you just post something a few days ago that showed his approval two points higher than it is today?

I like how Lipton writes, "GSA 'now says.'"

    Did they ever "say" otherwise?

No. The Dems lied, and the press believed them, and didn't confirm the truth of the story.
