If you're talking about Sixteen, it's a hell of a lot better than the Trump Grill.

I agree that there is a concerted effort to paint Trump as unsuited for the presidency. And he's making that effort.

This is arguably the silliest goddamn thing I've ever read on this thread, and that's a high damn standard. To imagine that the party that couldn't beat the yell-y man from the TeeVee would be able to actually stage a coup. Shit, I don't know one could overestimate the other side more.

All this is complaining and whining, which is louder now than its ever been. Just because these things dump into our consciousness more easily doesn't make them any less nonsense. (I suppose I should allow that the last election swung mostly on entitled complaining, but that's another matter)

And to say someone is suited for a job because they got it is just circular. If that was the case, everyone would be suited for their job because the got them. And we know not everyone is suited for the job they get. (I'd argue he's unsuited because he seems oddly unaware that his words matter, but I guess democracy tells us this doesn't matter)

I guess I should feel honored to set a record then?
I admitted it was tin foil hat territory. But it does feel like pieces are being moved into place for some reason. Hopefully it's just to go into Trump's presidency with the image of him being an orange idiot implanted firmly in the public's consciousness, the same way Reagan was painted as a doddering old fool, GWB a thumb-sucking moron, Cheney an evil heartless bastard, etc.
The level of angst and the machinations they're trying to go to to keep Trump out of the White House are like nothing I've ever seen, though. You talk about the right complaining and whining, but what the left is doing right now is off the charts. They're throwing as much shit at the wall and hoping it sticks right now as Trump was during parts of his campaign. The Democrat candidate stood on a debate stage and lectured the American people about accepting the results of the election, and then once it went against their party the Democrats have done everything they can to continue the campaign for the past six weeks.
The recounts didn't work, so now it's trying to influence electors. When that doesn't work, and you have a side that's increasingly desperate and scared, what's next?
Considering the issue should be settled, that is what's disconcerting to me.

At this point, I think they're just throwing. Shit, a future president once wrote "He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!"

Much like that time, there will be no revolution.

I love how after a near-decade of Obama-hater conspiracy theories that never came true, mouth breather America is going to have one more for the road that also doesn't come true right before they get the government they've dreamed of their whole lives, good and hard right in the ass.

It's politics. Not different from eight years ago when Republicans vowed to never work with President Obama. Difference is Obama had a mandate. Trump has nothing close to a mandate.

I like former Happy Days castmates who don't get beat up by women, OK.
