I thought (and think) Clinton was a terrible candidate too and would have been a mediocre to poor president. But using no more than the basic critical thinking skills available to any adult within one deviation of the average IQ, I was able to discern that Trump was not only uniquely unqualified and morally bankrupt but a genuine threat to the safety of the republic. So I stood in line, ate my shit sandwich and voted for her.

He had the same option and voted for Trump. He deserves no absolution and no softening of the blow. He (and millions of others) called for this evil by name. Let him own it, for better or worse.

I'm confused by the media's sudden introspection. They're now worried that then may have been unwittingly aided Russian intelligence, in disseminating the leaked Podesta emails.

That Russia was trying to influence the election, suddenly matters.

But, where would they draw the line? Is it the motives of the leaker that matter, or merely their location?

Is it wrong to run leaked emails when political motivations are attached to the leaker only if they come from a foreign nation state?

Does that mean it's ok to run leaked materials if their are political motivations behind the leak, but the leaker is Jimmy Carter's grandson?

But this is the funny (sad) thing.

Lot's of people have already done Trump, and concluded that he's mentally ill.

But, for some folks, seeing Donald's behavior, seems to have brought out the worst in themselves, and brought their own mental health issues to the forefront.

I think folks like Eichenwald, Weigel, Ioffe and others should be very cautious, and should check in with their doctors.

Kurt is also a perfect example of the boy who cried wolf.

You demonized Romney, and ended up with Trump. Great job Kurt.

Yes yes. This is a very frequent phrase from Team Trump.

    Very Cautious. Be Very Cautious.

This morning, Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States, tweeted out:

"Are we talking about the same cyberattack where it was revealed that head of the DNC illegally gave Hillary the questions to the debate?"

This is not only defelection at about a third-grade level, it's inaccurate. It was not illegal for Donna Brazile to provide Hillary with debate questions. It was certainly inappropriate, but not illegal.

Is it too much for me to wish our soon-to-be-president would stop tweeting out obvious lies trying to cover his own ass. Or -- to give him the benefit of the doubt -- have a basic clue about the laws of this country?
