Is this the right thread for updates on Cam Heyward's status?

Those updates are like a train into the city: You miss one, there'll be another one coming along in 15 minutes.

Exactly. He's not doing give and take football discussion, instead it's bizarre running play by play updates of each Steeler game, seemingly talking only to himself. It's quite weird, and can't be the type of discussion the NFL threads were intended for (could you imagine if everyone here did that with their favorite team?).

I largely quit the NFL threads years ago because I got sick of the oop shit cluttering up each Sunday. Every rare once in awhile I'll still check in on Sundays, but only to see "shit, he's still doing it..." and leave.

It wasn't a face mask or a horse collar. It was a strong, grown ass man, Whitworth, basically clotheslining Timmons with a forearm just south of the throat. It was legal, and I say that as a Steelers fan.

I can't imagine CBS is thrilled with NFL Network poaching the Steelers game. Their remaining choices of what to air make coal in the stocking look good.

    • Dolphins-Bills
    • Jets-Pats
    • Titans-Jags
    • Chargers-Browns
    • Colts-Raiders (late window)

Thank you for sharing yet another whiny post on this topic. The running threads are there for discussion of that week's games. That is what I do. You are more than welcome to ignore my posts or add something of substance of your own to the thread, but it is easier for you to cry than actually contribute something of value.

I'm starting to like this thread. Y'all can do all of your crying here and we can discuss the actual games on the main NFL thread. Thanks poin!

No, but if you ask nicely I'll provide Ladarius Green or Stephon Tuitt updates on the main thread later this week.

I largely quit the NFL threads years ago because I got sick of the anti-Steelers trolling cluttering up each Sunday (plus Red Zone came along so I didn't need SJ to keep up with all the games).

I'll try to make a civil suggestion. Why don't you one week try waiting until the Steeler game is over, and then give a comprehensive analysis of it in one post, of which we can all then consider, comment on, and discuss?

I can promise you that approach would be much better received than cluttering up each Sunday's thread with endless ongoing every-five-minute updates during each four-plus hour Steeler game. We don't want to know every goddamned thing that happens in every goddamned Steeler game as it happens, just wait til the game's over and give us the good stuff.

  11. We need to keep track of Tuitt.
    Hope he plays this week.
