We have it. With advanced reserved seating. It makes going to movies a pleasure.

He'll, I think it would be worth $10 just to nap in those seats for 2 hours.

It is so sweet, they are about 25% wider than standard seat, all electric as well.

Yeah, those seats are great. The theater with reserve seating near us has them as well. We had stopped going there entirely after a new multiplex with better parking opened up nearby, but the reserve seating got us to switch back most of the time. The greatness of capitalism in action!

No reclining seats at my theater's VIP section. But, booze.

I watched Rogue One, had some kind of vodka cocktail and went to space with them. It was a fun movie.

    'Midnight Special'
Michael Shannon is just an oddly entertaining and compelling guy to watch.

Saw the The Edge of Seventeen today, the not particularly good teen drama starring Hailee Steinfeld. The most notable thing about it was that including me and my friend, there were (a) a trio of guys who looked like they were off from college, (b) a couple of middle-aged Canadian sounding men, and (c) some retiree who'd decided that he was going to wear multiple layers of sweaters, despite it not being very cold.

Finally, some kid stumbled in with his girlfriend right before the opening credits. It didn't lessen the weird, locker-room vibe at all.

Last week, Manchester by the Sea.

Last night, Fences. Thanks to Facebook, I know another sj poster was in a theater at the same time, seeing the same movie.

Going to La La Land this morning.

All are at theaters with reserved seating with the big, reclining chairs. Love being able to buy my tickets online and have them on my phone so I can skip the ticket lines.

Go see Fences. You won't see a better-acted movie this year. The best part is it's a stage adaptation that still feels like a play.
Fences is a worthwhile stage adaptation that feels like a play

    Also recently saw:
Rogue One, not great, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it.
Moana was fun and cute. A delightful journey through Polynesian mythology.
Arrival is weird and not really an alien movie. I can see why it's received its accolades, though it's not a film for everyone.
Arrival is a mindfuck, but not an alien movie

Finally watched Star Trek Beyond on DVD. It was decent. Worth watching for Trek fans, but not as good as the first reboot.

Passengers; could have been so much better as a space thriller, instead its Pratt and Lawrence.
