There's a lot of crying on my Facebook newsfeed. And the stupid, misleading anti-Republican memes have staged a remarkable rally the past six weeks and are slaughtering the stupid, misleading anti-Democratic memes (which have slowed to a trickle).

Mine too. It's really pointless right now. Either get involved at the local level or STFU. Whining every day about it doesn't help a damn thing.

Also, Dick, I wasn't calling you out specifically. It just happened that the last page happened to have three straight posts by you since I'm not following you know who. Just thought it was funny.

There's that phrasing again. The phrase the Trumpkins, official and unofficial, professional and amateur, use a lot.

Obviously the word has gone out among Deplorable Nation that this is an effective phrase to use.

Maybe they know something we don't. Better be careful. Very careful. Bad things can happen at any time.

Dude, what are you talking about? They signed online petitions. I was chided this morning that it was "better than doing nothing," i.e. the implication being that I was "doing nothing," having not signed said online petitions.

I think I'm giving out Dave Eggers's "The Circle" to everyone I know age 18-40 this Christmas.

One of my friends shared this one, which I do love so much. Let's redraw state lines now to win elections.

Is there any good reason why Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota should be separate states?

    LOL.

I've always believed we needed to get rid of any state with directional signs or the word New in there...

Your daughter may qualify for Medicaid waiver services because of her condition. It depends on the state, and if your state offers it.

What happens is, say your daughter has to see a specialist in your insurance's network. Your insurance would pay the specialist as it usually does, but any co-pays are paid for by the Medicaid waiver. If it's an out-of-network specialist, then Mediciaid waiver picks up any expenses your insurance doesn't pay.

In my state, some of the waiver programs are not based upon the parents' income or resources because of the kid's disability. It's not the conventional Medicaid program which is based upon income and/or resources. It's based upon the disability. In my state, they have Medicaid waiver services for autistic kids, another program for developmentally disabled kids, another for traumatic brain injury, etc.

Look into it in your state.
