    Which is why I TGILIABS.

Like a lot of governmental things, the waiver program can be a pain in the ass at times. It takes months, sometimes years to get on it; the doctors, and more frequently, the pharmacy, gets confused by billing two different insurances; sometimes the waiver rejects things that they had accepted a dozen times before. But without it, we might be discussing redecorating cardboard boxes. Guess that makes us LCMs (Lazy Communist Moochers).

We jump through the same, or worse, hoops in order to get less. Count your blessings.

Once my wife retires from the university where she works, we might consider leaving. OTOH, we have a paid for house and all her family is local, so that will probably turn out to be just talk. We love the state and at least some of the people, but migawd, the government here. Louisiana might be worse. Maybe.

You could understand why there is some resentment, though, right? If someone doesn't have a condition that qualifies for a waiver, they are just SOL because policymakers drew the line somewhere.

It is silly. Everybody knows you redraw Congressional districts to win elections!

Reminder, Trump is obese and older than Reagan when he took office. Is bodog taking odds that he keels over? If so, what are the odds on slipping this mortal coil before winter begins?

A former coworker (originally from Slidell) and I discussed this one day. His contention was that Louisiana politicians typically take their graft off the top of projects that will otherwise benefit the public. In Alabama, the politicians just keep it all.

Which son did he call that name? I've heard some bad stories about Donald Jr. Not sure they are true, but Everybody's Talking.

Yes. It's crazy to think that a person who says inappropriate things on camera and in arenas filled with people would say something else maybe a smidge crazier.

    Stoopid libs!
