Fake lede to a story about a fake tape.

This is our media at the end of 2016, yet they'll still tell us that Trump won the election because of fake news and an "epic media malfunction."

Remember those old Access Hollywood tapes that showed then-Republican nominee Donald Trump bragging about committing sexual assault?

Here's the thing: Obamacare IS a compromise.

The more this debate has raged, the more I become convinced that it's law solely because it's the only thing that could've become law. Not because it's a GOOD law.

And, while it's far from perfect, in the grand scheme of things, I believe the "something" has been better than the "nothing."

Yeah the $3 billion bucks of free coverage the slobbering right wing corporate MSM gave him has a little to do with that

Hey, maybe the video is a hoax, but the problem is real, and hopefully, it can jumpstart a necessary conversation in America.

What percentage of the coverage was negative?

His previous fame benefited him, but much of the coverage was devastating.

Too bad the public has less trust in the media than they do in used car salesmen.

Funny that in response to this problem, the main stream media is attempting to point out the flaws in alternative media, while doubling down on their own biased coverage.

I'm not trying to be critical or play the "what about?" game here, but you're kind of glossing over a lot of the history of the ACA and its passage. In that Congress the Democrats had the barest of a filibuster-proof Senate majority (that they got with Arlen Specter's defection) but lost that with the death of Ted Kennedy. Quintessentially blue state Massachusetts then sent Scott Brown as a replacement, largely because of opposition to the plans that were being floated. Confronted with the reality that reform might actually be off the table, the Democrats played procedural footsie and worked a health-care overhaul through via reconciliation. That approach meant that a helluva lot of stuff got lost in the shuffle (sometimes deliberately*). To say that the Republicans owed it to the country to then make the ACA work is to ignore both how recklessly it was pushed through and who was doing the pushing.

*E.g., I'm skeptical that mandatory contraception's being left out of the ACA's text was an accident.

The very idea that passengers on a flight between London and New York would be freaked out simply by someone speaking Arabic is silly.

The MSM coddled and protected Dumpf and kissed his ass for two straight years. Treating him as a "legitimate candidate" was preposterous to start out with.

The media still categorically refuses to even discuss the really damning stuff about Dumpf. There are certain topics about Dumpf which are simply not allowed to be discussed in public.

Right now, all that happens is posts get deleted and you get banned from message boards. After Jan. 20, people will be dragged off.
